Moshe Kasher’s new book ‘Subculture Vulture: A Memoir in Six Scenes’ out 1/30

Moshe Kasher

Comedian Moshe Kasher and Random House have announced that Kasher’s new memoir, Subculture Vulture: A Memoir in Six Scenes, will be published on Jan. 30, 2024.

As the title suggest, the book will unfold in six parts detailing Kasher’s time in AA, his stint as a rave promoter turned DJ turned sober ecstasy dealer, his 15-years working as a psychedelic security guard at Burning Man, his passion for deaf culture and sign language interpretations, reflections on his ultra-Hasidic Jewish upbringing – following the death of his father – and finally, his current place in the comedy world.

The memoir is expected to be a hilarious exploration of finding yourself, your people, and your purpose through all the chapters of your life.

Subculture Vulture: A Memoir in Six Scenes follows Kasher’s first memoir, Kasher in the Rye, which became a surprise Amazon/Audible Bestseller 11 years after its initial publication thanks to Jeopardy host Mayim Bialik sharing her support via TikTok.
