New York based stand-up comedian Gianmarco Soresi has been traveling the world throughout 2023 on The Leaning in Tour. On Oct. 19-21, he is bringing the show to Chicago for five sets at Zanies on Wells St.
Along with his hilarious comedy, Soresi is known for his signature “Soresi Lean” stance, hence the name of the tour.
Soresi explains, “Not everyone can tell from my social media clips, but I’m 6’4” so I often feel the need to lean down to connect with a particular audience member (or just to stretch out my lower back honestly). Someone on YouTube dubbed this the ‘Soresi Lean’ while another commented the way I bend my knee proves that I’m a homosexual. I corrected him that I’m technically Pliéing my knee.”
