Mamby on the Beach has announced the lineup for its 2017 rendition of the festival. Topping the bill for the third annual event, which takes place at Chicago’s Oakwood Beach on June 24-25 are MGMT and Walk the Moon.
Also performing at the 2017 Mamby on the Beach are Local Natives, Misterwives, Flying Lotus, Miike Snow, Cut Copy, Marian Hill, Thundercat, Mutemath, STRFKR and more. Headlining the electronic-infused Mixmag Tent on Saturday is French house producer Tchami and on Sunday, Chicago’s own Curtis Alan Jones under the moniker Green Velvet (celebrating 25 years of his label Relief Records). There will also be a Silent Disco at this year’s festival — lineup coming soon.
Previous Mamby performers include Milky Chance, Animal Collective, Santigold, Chromeo, Emire of the Sun, Passion Pit, LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and more. Chance the Rapper also performed the festival, shocking fans with a surprise appearance at last year’s Mamby.
