Laughter will be in the air this April as 800 Pound Gorilla Media has announced that the month will be the First Annual Worldwide Comedy Month.
In celebration of this momentous occasion, the label has curated a month-long slate of specialized programming including global premieres of stand-up specials, scripted projects, and much more. Kyle Kinane, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Mo Welch, Modi, Ivo Graham, and Monty Franklin are among the comics who will be highlighted throughout the month.
“This is an opportunity for fans and comedians to celebrate what we love most: comedy. This is a moment for the whole comedy world. A much needed moment for us all to laugh together,” said 800 Pound Gorilla co-founder, Ryan Bitzer, in a statement.
