Richard Sarvate, a Los Angeles-based comedian with over a million followers on TikTok, has released his new album, They’re Gonna Know. The release, which came out on April 12 via Blonde Medicine, finds Sarvate laughing along with fans as he declares the internet to be over and laments the lack of “real life” interactions playing out in the world.
Dealing with judgy robots, buying – and spending – Bitcoins, and navigating comments sections are just a few of the topics Sarvate mines for humor throughout They’re Gonna Know. He also jokes about how he got the name Richard and condemns Lionel Richie for setting unrealistic expectations before closing with a hilarious bit about his experiences going on auditions.
He also shares a story about how a girl he matched with on a dating app didn’t want to go three miles to see him at a bar.
“I was like, in your profile it says you love to travel,” he said.
From start to finish, They’re Gonna Know is packed with jokes and Sarvate sets a tone that makes listeners at home feel like they are on-site laughing along with the crowd at the Punch Line comedy club in San Francisco where the album was recorded.
