Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne has announced that he will be releasing a new studio album, Long Way Home, on Aug. 16 as well as a tour in support of the new material.

The Long Way Home Tour will kick-off in El Paso on Sept. 17 before making stops in Austin, Chattanooga, Birmingham, and other great cities. The tour will conclude on Sept. 28 in Orlando.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. local time and there is an artist presale beginning on Tuesday, June 4. The Secret Sisters will serve as support throughout the tour.

LaMontagne said in a statement, “Thirty years later it occurs to me that every song on Long Way Home is in one way or another honoring the journey. The languorous days of youth and innocence. The countless battles of adulthood, some won, more often lost. It’s been a long hard road, and I wouldn’t change a minute. It took me nine songs to express what Townes managed to say in one line. I guess I still got a lot to learn.”
