It’s festival season in Chicago and the first day of Pitchfork Music Festival had fans across Union Park in Chicago dancing along to some incredible music. Led by the infectious melodies and incomparable performance chops of the day’s headliners, Black Pumas, the entire lineup of artists went on to deliver an unforgettable experience.

One of the day’s many standouts was Sudan Archives who unleashed visual delights and sonic artistry unlike any other. Jeff Rosenstock played a high-energy set that rock fans couldn’t get enough of while Jai Paul dazzled with his innovative approach to performance. Rosali, 100 Gecs, and Yaeji were also among the artists who left it all on the stage during day one of Pitchfork Music Festival 2024.
