Just incase you missed it, Chris Hardwick’s Silicon Valley-based ID10T Music Festival + Comic Conival has just added a few more exciting acts to their already most excellent lineup. Joining the bill for the inaugural event, going down on June 24-25 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, are musical guests Tank And The Bangas as well as comedians, Brent Weinbach, Dan Mintz, Greg Proops and more.
Tank And The Bangas have been added to Saturday’s lineup, as have Proops, Mintz and the newly-joined Jonah Ray. Weinbach along with Marcella Agruello and Mike Phirman (also just added) will perform the Monster Energy Comedy Tent on Sunday. Comic book artists Donny Cates, Jai Nitz, Matthew Southworth, Justin Greenwood, Morgan Beem, Ngozi Ukazu, Phil Hester and Brent Schoonover have also just been added to the bill.
The first ever ID10T Fest (I-D-ten-T, not to be confused with idiot) previously announced an impressive initial lineup earlier this month. Hardwick (who created the festival) is slated to host the event, which boasts musical acts like Weezer, TV on the Radio, OK Go & Lord Huron along with comedians Nikki Glaser, Michael Ian Black, Michael Che, Garfunkel & Oates, Demetri Martin, Brian Posehn and more.
Hardwick’s ID1OT Festival promises to deliver two solid days of live music and comedy with a twist. The event’s unique Comic-Con-esque angle — with a smorgasbord of panels, autograph signings, cosplay, podcasts, live tapings, games and more — is sure to put a fresh spin on the traditional festival experience. Hardwick himself is even scheduled to moderate some panels, introduce select artists & comedians, and do a special live taping of his Nerdist Podcast at the festival.
