Can you feel that? That feeling is a sold-out crowd at United Center screaming the lyrics from every song on the 25th Anniversary tour of The Sickness from Disturbed, and holy smokes was I not ready to hear everyone in unison sing, “Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah” with David Draiman! But of course, we aren’t only going to talk about what Disturbed sang, we also need to acknowledge that the stage setup was insane, with not only pyrotechnics but also sparklers like fireworks going off randomly during certain songs! Disturbed also had a catwalk, and let’s just say, no matter where you are located at The United Center, you could see the band and have a great spot! The production used on this show was also amazing and at first didn’t look like anything crazy, but when the lights go down and the show starts, that’s when you see how insane the production is!
Another thing that some people may not know is that Disturbed is doing 2 sets during this tour! The entirety of The Sickness takes a quick, small intermission if you wanna call it that, and begins playing the hits with a few covers! David Draiman also brings out vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, of Sevendust to do a song together, which was so cool to see! Overall, I would see Disturbed play another show in their hometown or honestly anywhere because it was just an incredible show and something I would never forget! Plus, they had the bonus of having Sevendust opening and Three Days Grace x2 being direct support! Truly a great lineup overall, and if you are into older metal or harder rock music, then this tour is a must-see!
