From being brothers to forming and becoming a musical duo together, The Driver Era has been on my radar for a while but mainly because frontman, Ross Lynch was formally a Disney channel star who I used to adore on the hit TV show Austin and Aly. On the show, Ross Lynch would sing and dance amongst other things but even then, you could tell how mega-talented he was so seeing him literally years later on stage with his brother Rocky Lynch, who is just as talented, you just become star-struck and understand why they have so many screaming fans in the crowd!

Now to the actual show and how it went. The show was incredible and definitely is a band I would love to see again! The first song they did perform behind a curtain but honestly I wasn’t upset by it. I gave them props because it was super artistic and made the fans guess what would happen next until the end of the song when the curtain dropped and they went into their second song! During “The Weekend” Ross came off the stage with a vintage-like camera and ran through the pit and got on top of the barricade to record the crowd cheering and singing with him! Honestly, I do love seeing fan interaction with bands so seeing this moment was so very cool and you just knew it made some lucky fans’ day being right up on that barricade! The Driver Era also played one cover during their Chicago stop which was “Need You Tonight” by INXS which was of course a huge hit with the crowd. But, the best part for some fans was The Driver Era closing with “A Kiss”.

Overall the Driver Era is an insanely talented duo! If you are a fan of Ross when he was on Disney or of his Brother and his former band R5 then you will hands down love The Driver Era! From the incredible talent, the fan songs, or even just the amazing stage set up! It truly is just a very fun night!
