Joe Mande will soon hit small screens everywhere. The comedian is among the latest to reveal a premiere date for his latest special on the streaming giant and modern comedy hub Netflix.
The announcement of Mande’s Award-Winning Comedy Special came yesterday via the comedian’s Twitter (see above). The hour-long, which will officially arrive to Netflix on July 25, was recorded live on Jan. 4 at New York City’s Highline Ballroom, following lengthy nation-wide tour dates across most of 2016.
Mande released his first comedy album B*tchface back in March of 2014. The album was done in a mixtape style featuring appearances by Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Jenny Slate and Nick Kroll (whose Oh, Hello on Broadway is among the handful of comedy specials premiering this month) and ultimately went onto to be number one on the iTunes comedy charts.
Mande has performed stand-up on Conan and Late Night with Seth Meyers and has appeared on a handful of series’ including Judd Apatow’s Love and Modern Family. He has also contributed as a writer on Parks and Recreation, Kroll Show, Master of None, the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco and Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally’s most recent special Summer of 69: No Apostrophe, which dropped last month.
Experience the Mande way with his Award-Winning Comedy Special streaming on Netflix on July 25 but, please… no “Netflix and Chill” jokes.
