High Plains Comedy Festival has just announced the first wave of their 2017 lineup. Topping the bill for this year’s fest, which takes place in Denver this August, are the ever-popular T.J. Miller, My Favorite Murder, Todd Glass and Take My Wife’s Rhea Butcher.

Among the additional comedians announced thus far for High Plains Comedy Festival 2017 (40+ in total) are event founder Adam Cayton-Holland & his Those Who Can’t co-creators Andrew Orvedahl and Ben Roy. Matt Braunger, Baron Vaughn, Eddie Pepitone, April Richardson, Hampton Yount are also among this year’s lineup as are a host of Denverites including filmmaking / stand-up duo The Nix Bros, Troy Walker, Chris Charpentier, Jordan Doll, Kristin Rand, Sam Tallent, Kevin O’Brien, Mara Wiles and Matt Monroe. More performers will also be announced in the coming weeks.

The High Plains Comedy Festival takes place in Denver’s historic Baker neighborhood with under-card performances taking place at a handful of local venues including the Hi-Dive, 3 Kings Tavern and more and headlining acts taking the stage at The Paramount Theater.

2017 marks the High Plains Comedy Festival’s 5th anniversary. Last year’s event featured an expanded lineup with headliners Garfunkel & Oates, Kyle Kinane and Cameron Esposito.
