Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents, formerly known as The Half Hour, previously announced plans to debut over a dozen new half-hour specials by featured up-and-coming comedians. Premiere dates for the forthcoming slate of highly-anticipated specials have likewise just been unveiled.
The 2017 block of Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents specials — all taped at New Orlean’s Civic Theatre — kicks off with a double bill Friday, Sept. 15 with Chris Redd (at midnight) and Yamaneika Saunders (12:30 a.m. ET/PT). CC will debut select specials from Shane Torres, Jo Firestone, Anthony Devito and more over the course of the following five weeks until closing things out with a half-hour from Adam Cayton-Holland on Oct. 27.
In total, there are 13 specials included in this year’s Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents slate. The network initially announced 14 specials back in March but, sadly, that number was reduced by one upon the untimely passing of Austin comedian Lashonda Lester, who died weeks prior to her expected film date.
See the complete list of specials and air dates below and be sure to tune in to Comedy Central on Sept. 8 at 1:30 a.m. ET/PT for a preview episode featuring highlights from each of the 13 specials.
