It’s been about eight months since Dave Chappelle dropped his dual comedy specials The Age of Spin and Deep in the Heart of Texas on Netflix, fulfilling two thirds of his extremely lucrative contract with the streaming service. Now we have the first promo teaser, ahead of the comedian’s third and final special Equanimity, set to debut on Dec. 31.
As can be seen above in the brief mashup teaser trailer, Chappelle crosses paths with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) from Netflix’ hit series Stranger Things, which also just so happened to drop its second season late last month just prior to Halloween.
Chappelle’s previous two Netflix hour-longs were recently declared to be the VOD service’s most watched stand-up specials ever. Time will tell if the legendary comedian can top his own records with Equanimity.
