It appears Netflix is continuing its trend of inking “multi-special” deals with top-tier comedians. The network, which has already confirmed two from Chris Rock, two from Brian Regan, two from Jerry Seinfeld and four from Dave Chappelle, has just announced a second special from Extras creator Ricky Gervais.
Gervais, who previously struck a deal with Netflix for the rights to his Humanity hour-long, has just confirmed the streaming giant will also become the home to an additional, still-yet-to-be-titled, special. The comedian took to Twitter last night, asking fans for some suggestions on a title.
As you may have read, Netflix have bought two stand up specials. The first, Humanity, which I have toured and filmed. And the second, which I haven't even thought about yet. Any suggestions for a theme or title? pic.twitter.com/8PqKQyUQtT

Netflix was a natural fit for Gervais’ new pair of specials as the comedian and streaming service have already partnered to bring subscribers gems like the endearing and highly-underrated series Derek and The Office feature film spinoff David Brent: Life on the Road, among other projects.
Gervais’ Humanity special was filmed at London’s Evintim Apollo as part of the comedian’s massive tour, which saw him globe-trekking throughout much of 2017. No premiere date has been announced for Humanity or its newly-announced predecessor.
