On March 14, the Eagles will take over Chicago’s United Center for a night of hits and harmonies that surely will not disappoint. Warming things up for the legendary six-time Grammy Award-winning group is none other than country blues band JD & The Straight Shot.

Wednesday night’s show will likely see a blend of both old and new material as JD & The Straight Shot continue to ride the high of their 2017 album Good Luck and Good Night. The album’s title track, along with its lead single “Run for Me” are likely to make appearances at some point throughout the set as is the group’s colorful cover of “Shambala,” which they just performed earlier this week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

JD & The Straight Shot last performed in The Windy City, opening up for Eagles’ founding member Don Henley at a solo performance at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in June of last year. Despite some volatile weather that resulted in lengthy delays for the night’s headliner, JD & The Straight Shot entertained the masses earlier in the night with an upbeat set of country rock fusion made up of tracks from their 2016 release Ballyhoo! along with a few choice covers.

Fans can catch JD & The Straight Shot touring with the Eagles in select cities across the U.S. prior to venturing up north for shows in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. For more information and to pick up tickets, visit the group’s official website.
