New York-based comedian Sam Jay is on the verge of releasing a new stand-up comedy album. The album, entitled Donna’s Daughter, is slated for a digital release later this week.
Jay’s new album will mark the comedian’s stand-up comedy album debut. It will be released on Comedy Central Records and will see Jay talking Trump, nazis and gay marriage, among other topics.
A prominent up-and-comer in the world of comedy, Jay has an impressive list of recent accomplishments including, a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! a half hour set on 2017’s Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents, a gig as a writer on Saturday Night Live and a 15-minute set on the new Netflix comedy showcase The Comedy Lineup.
Jay’s deeply personal and unconventional new album, Donna’s Daughter, billed as “part-stand-up album, part-mixtape,” will be out Friday, July 6.
