Those awaiting to see who will perform at this year’s Beale Street Music Festival shall wait no more as the 3-Day event has just announced the 2019 lineup. Among those slated to appear at the fest, which takes place in Memphis, TN on May 3-5, are Dave Matthews Band, Gary Clark Jr. and The Killers.
Following the long-running tradition, the 2019 lineup for Beale Street Music Festival features an eclectic mix of genre including rock, R&B, hip hop, indie, alternative, blues and pop. Joining the above-mentioned artists on this year’s bill are G-Eazy, Charlie Wilson, Shinedown, Khalid, OneRepublic, Cardi B, India.Arie, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Flogging Molly, 6lack, Trippie Redd, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, Good Charlotte, Chvrches, Lil Dicky, Lord Huron, Big Boi, Dirty Heads, Simple Plan, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Rodrigo y Gabriella, In This Moment, Moon Taxi, Coin and more.
The Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival’s 2019 rendition comes on the heels of a record-setting 2018 in which the event saw over 102,000 visitors from across 22 countries in Tom Lee Park. The 2019 festival marks Memphis in May’s 200th year in existence and to help celebrate the special occasion organizers put a spotlight on local talent including Blocboy JB, Healy, Liz Brasher, MoneyBagg Yo, Saving Abel, John Kilzer and the Scars, NLE Choppa and Muck Sticky. The Coca-Cola Blues Tent will also feature more local talent like Stax legend William Bell, Southern Avenue, Ghost Town Blues Band, Will Tucker, Blind Mississippi Morris and many more.
Beale Street Music Festival 2018 featured Jack White, Erykah Badu, Queens of the Stone Age and David Byrne among others. The previous year saw performances from Soundgarden, Kings Of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Widespread Panic, Death Cab For Cutie, Ben Harper, Bush, Highly Suspect, Ani Difranco, Sturgill Simpson and more.
