Bourbon & Beyond, the world’s largest bourbon festival, is returning for its third year this September with a solid lineup of rock, folk, roots music and more. The headliners for 2019 are Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band and Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters.
Bourbon & Beyond 2019 will take place Sept. 20-22 in Louisville, KY at the newly-created Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center. Joining the above-mentioned headliners for the weekend are John Fogerty, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Trey Anastasio Band, ZZ Top, Jenny Lewis, Kurt Vile And The Violators, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Flaming Lips, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Alison Krauss, Squeeze, Leon Bridges and many more.
The event, held during Bourbon Heritage Month, offers attendees a one-of-a-kind experience including not only music but also, you guessed it, a whole lot of bourbon. Angel’s Envy, Bardstown Bourbon, 1792, Barrell Bourbon, Four Roses, Knob Creek, Wild Turkey, Boone County Distilling and Elijah Craig are just a few of the bourbon brands participating at this year’s fest.
Also, there will be master distillers, bourbon authors & experts and a number of celebrity chefs on-hand including Edward Lee (The Mind of A Chef, 610 Magnolia, MilkWood, Whiskey Dry), Graham Elliot (Family Food Fight, Top Chef) and Tiffani Thiessen (Dinner At Tiffani’s).
Bourbon & Beyond is produced by independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents. “If you could capture America in a bottle, it would be a bottle of bourbon,” said Wimmer in a press release. “One of the most vibrant and diverse food scenes in the country has grown around bourbon’s resurgence, and we tried to mirror that spirit with the great music lineup that we put together.”
Single Day tickets for Bourbon & Beyond 2019 begin at $89.50 (plus fees) while 3-Day begin at $169.50 (plus fees). For more info visit BourbonAndBeyond.com.
