Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile is returning with her Girls Just Wanna Weekend destination concert vacation at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The second incarnation of the fest will take place January 29 through February 2, 2020 with sets by Sheryl Crow, Jade Bird, and GJWW veteran Patty Griffin, among others.
Just like the inaugural Girls Just Wanna Weekend, the second incarnation will again feature an all female-fronted lineup with Carlile performing three sets across the four night all-inclusive concert vacation. Also slated to perform are comedian Wanda Sykes, Lucius, Lake Street Dive, Amanda Shires and Yola along with special guests Ruby Amanfu, Natalie Hemby and Katie Herzig.
GJWW 2 will offer guests the option to choose from a range of accommodations at the Hard Rock including the Concert Courtyard rooms, Stagefront suites and more. The all-inclusive event will include food, drink and, of course, a whole lot of music.
2019’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend took place this past winter with performances from Indigo Girls, Mavis Staples, Shawn Colvin, Maren Morris and more.
