Iliza Shlesinger is releasing a documentary detailing all the blood sweat and tears that go into making a stand-up special. Check out the trailer for the comedian’s forthcoming film, Over & Over, above to get a tiny peak behind the hour-long comedy curtain.
Shlesinger partnered with Comedy Dynamics for the release of Over & Over, which documents her life on the road while filming her last Netflix special, Elder Millennial. Touring pressures, airport expertise and traveling with a pet are just a few of the topics the comedian will address throughout the course of the film, directed by Jonah Feingold.
Shlesinger was the first female comic to win NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She has since released a comedy album, War Paint, along with a handful of hour-long specials including 2015’s Freezing Hot, 2016’s Confirmed Kills and the aforementioned Elder Millennial (2018).
