Miami Beach Pop Festival will make its debut in less than six weeks. That said, event organizers have just announced that Jack Johnson, Arcade Fire’s Win Butler, Nacho and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley will join the inaugural festival’s All-Star Celebration of Bob Marley.
The Bob Marley tribute will be presented by Stephen Marley and will take place on the festival’s opening night. Billed as a “collaborative tribute” to the reggae legend, the Day 1 set will see the above-mentioned group of musicians and singers joining together for an “evening of musical creativity and transcendent cultural connection.”
Headliners for Miami Beach Pop Festival 2019 include the previously-mentioned Johnson, Daddy Yankee, Kygo and Chance the Rapper. Helping round out the lineup are The Raconteurs, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Chromeo (DJ Set), Margo Price, The Roots, T-Pain, Sean Paul and DJ Windows 98 (Arcade Fire’s Win Butler), among others.
Miami Beach Pop Festival is set for November 8-10, 2019 on the sands of Florida’s iconic South Beach. For more information, visit the festival’s official website.
