As if this year’s New York Comedy Festival couldn’t get any better, event organizers have just added another round of 100+ shows to its 2019 lineup. Among the event’s newest additions are performances by HBO’s Crashing creator Pete Holmes and Hasan Minhaj’s Patriot Act, to name just a couple.
The New York Comedy Festival announced its initial 2019 lineup back in August, featuring a slew of comedians (over 200 in total) slated to perform at various locations throughout New York City this November.
The week-long festival’s previously-announced comedians include Norm MacDonald, Stephen Colbert, Kathleen Madigan, Bill Maher, Trevor Noah, Nate Bargatze, Nicole Byer, Nick Kroll, Vir Das, Demetri Martin, Tom Segura, Randy Rainbow, Jenny Slate, Kevin Smith and Jay Mewes, Benito Skinner and many more.
This past Tuesday, the festival added over 100 concept shows, special tapings, stand-up performances, podcasts, panels and more, boasting a more eclectic array of artists and performers than ever before. Joining the above-mentioned new additions of Holmes and Minhaj are Quinta Brunson and Friends, Larry Owens and Friends, Going Deep with Chad & JT, Trevor Wallace, History Hyenas Live Podcast, Seek Culture!, Her-ICane, Let’s Go Atsuko: A Woke Japanese Game Show and Made in India.
The New York Comedy Festival runs Nov. 4-10, kicking off Day 1 with the annual night of hope, healing and laughter, Stand Up for Heroes, which features performances by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, John Oliver and more.
