Following the success of the inaugural Something in the Water festival in 2019, the event’s founder, Pharrell Williams, has announced the epic music lineup for the event’s second installment.
Pharrell & Friends, Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Clipse, Tyler the Creator, H.E.R., Beck – who recently worked with Williams as a producer on his latest album, Hyperspace – and more will appear during the multi-day event taking place in Virginia Beach on April 24 to 26. A$AP Rocky, Migos, Chance the Rapper, Brittany Howard and Tierra Whack are also among the artists featured on the 2020 bill.
Tickets for Something in the Water will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Dec. 14 at noon ET following the sold out “locals only” presale that took place earlier this fall.
Williams launched the festival to unite the community, celebrate diversity and showcase the best of what he has found around the world back in his hometown of Virginia Beach. Prior to making the national 2020 lineup announcement, Williams first released the news to twelve Virginia Beach high school principals to make a simultaneous district-wide announcement in a nod to the influence and appreciation of educators.
