The fourth annual Lollapalooza Paris is going to be rockin’ in 2020 as it was recently announced that Pearl Jam, Vampire Weekend and Billie Eilish will be performing at Hippodrome De Longchamp on July 18-19, 2020.
Khalid, Jessie J, Haim, Fever 333, The Struts and more are also scheduled to appear. Additional bands are expected to be announced as more than 40 artists will perform on four stages during the event.
Of course, the Lollapalooza Paris announcement will find Chicago-area fans hoping to find Pearl Jam on the American bill as well. Eddie Vedder and company have not performed at the Grant Park festival since 2007 – instead opting for Wrigley Field concerts in recent years – when they welcomed VIPs such as Ben Harper and Dennis Rodman to join them on stage during a cover of “Rockin’ in the Free World.”
Since Perry Farrell founded Lollapalooza as a touring festival in 1991, the event has grown to a global festival with editions in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France and Sweden. The U.S. version has been located in Chicago since 2005.
Lollapalooza Paris is produced by Perry Farrell, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, C3 Presents and Live Nation France.
