Comedian Moshe Kasher has announced that his latest album, Crowd Surfing, will be released via Comedy Dynamics on Jan. 24.
As the title suggests, crowd work is the sole focus of the 11-track album as Kasher interacts with a Washington D.C. crowd to generate hilarious results. Beer bonging Colt 45 and molesting a giraffe while on molly are a few of the story topics Kasher mines from the crowd as is the weird and wild tale of “DJ’s Mom.”
Crowd Surfing follows Kasher’s previous albums Everyone You Know is Going to Die, and Then You Are! (2009) and Live in Oakland (2013). His 2018 collaboration with his wife, Natasha Leggero, The Honeymoon Stand-Up Special, was also released as an album.
Kasher has written and produced for several hilarious TV series including Another Period, Wet Hot American Summer, and Little America. He also hosted the severely underrated Comedy Central show Problematic and hosts the podcasts The Hound Tall Discussion Series and The Endless Honeymoon Podcast.
2020 also finds Kasher hitting the road. An album release show is scheduled in San Francisco on Jan. 24 and he has several dates booked in Washington, DC, Telluride, and Bloomington, IN later this winter and spring.
