Comedian Yvonne Orji has shared the official promo for her first hour-long HBO comedy special, Yvonne Orji: Momma, I Made It, which is set to premiere on Saturday, June 6 at 10 p.m. ET.
The 90-second clip features the Insecure actress cracking jokes, interacting with the crowd at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. and touring her native home in Nigeria. Her international haggling addiction and the fine line between cursing people out and putting curses on them are among the topics of the sure-to-be-hilarious special.
Along with performing stand-up and playing Molly on Insecure, Orji has appeared in Night School and Vacation Friends. She also co-hosts the Jesus and Jollof podcast and her book Bamboozled by Jesus: How God Tricked Me Into the Life of My Dreams will be published next year.
