Like most comedians, Maria Bamford hasn’t been able to take her show on the road so she is adapting to the times and live-streaming a brand new hour of stand-up material this weekend.
The show, dubbed Vindicated: The Depressed and Anxious Proved Correct That Things Have Always Been Scary and Shitty, and its afterparty will run on RushTix at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 27. Bamford’s frequent tour-mate Jackie Kashian is set to open and a portion of the proceeds from the show will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Global Network.
Vindicated is Bamford’s follow-up to her hilarious special Weakness is the Brand, which dropped earlier this year. Old Baby and Maria Bamford, the special, special, special! are among her previous specials and she has provided voiceover work to such animated series as Big Mouth, BoJack Horseman, Adventure Time and many more.
