***Update – These shows have been postponed and we will post the rescheduled dates when they are announced.

Pianist Johnny Iguana is celebrating his Delmark Records debut album Johnny Iguana’s Chicago Spectacular! by performing a pair of sets in Chicago. Drummer Michael Caskey will join Iguana for the shows which take place at Chicago’s new venue, Epiphany Arts Center, on Sept. 18.

Johnny Iguana’s Chicago Spectacular is Iguana’s first blues album as a band leader and the release features Lil’ Ed, John Primer, Billy Boy Arnold, Bob Margolin, Matthew Skoller, Billy Flynn, Kenny Smith, Bill Dickens and, the above mentioned, Michael Caskey. Previously, Iguana has toured with legends like Otis Rush and Junior Wells and recorded with Buddy Guy and James Cotton.

Tickets to Iguana’s Sept. 18 performances – presented as an early and a late set – are available for $15 and are sold by the table ($30) with no more than two guests per table. This cabaret style seating is part of Epiphany’s Covid-safe protocols and drink packages (included in the ticket price) are required to prevent crowding at the bar.
