Chicago quartet MAKS the Fox have announced that they will release their third album, That We Exist, on April 23.
The band – comprised of Kori Simonson (vocals, guitar, keys), Marlon Aguilar (vocals, guitar), Rachel Schuldt (cello, bass, backing vocals) and Jarod Facknitz (drums) – produced the album in collaboration with musician/producer Dan Duszynksk. Reading minds, sibling rivalry, déjà vu and honesty are a few of the themes explored in the That We Exist tracklist.
MAKS the Fox previously released their self-titled debut in 2013 which was followed by From the Deer Forest in 2016.
The group has previously performed at such notable local venues as Lincoln Hall, The Whistler and Subterranean. They plan to book shows in Chicago, and other Midwestern locations, when it is once again safe to gather.
