St. Vincent, AKA Annie Clark, has announced that Daddy’s Home, the highly anticipated follow-up to MASSEDUCTION, will be released on May 14 via Loma Vista Recordings. The album finds inspiration in the vinyl her dad had introduced her to during her childhood primarily featuring music made in New York City in the early-1970s.
“Daddy’s Home collects stories of being down and out in downtown NYC. Last night’s heels on the morning train. Glamour that’s been up for three days straight,” said Clark in a statement.
The album is produced by Clark and Jack Antonoff and will be released on 8-track, CD, Vinyl, Deluxe Vinyl, Cassette and digital formats.
In honor of the announcement, Clark also shared the video for the lead single “Pay Your Way In Pain.”
