Dawes perform at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on Dec. 4, 2021.
On Dec. 4, 2021, Dawes stopped by The Vic Theatre in Chicago in support of their seventh studio LP, Good Luck With Whatever, which was released late last year. Though they had a slew of new songs in their arsenal – including “Still Feel Like a Kid” which served as the set opener –Taylor Goldsmith and company used the opportunity to celebrate music from their entire career. “Most People,” a jammy “Mistakes We Should Have Made” and “Roll with the Punches” were all included in the evening’s setlist.
Singer-songwriter Erin Rae, accompanied by guitarist Sean Thompson, was also along for the ride opening the show with a short yet satisfying set of mostly new material.
Dawes’ tour continues through Dec. 12 when they will wrap things up in Houston, TX. Check out photos from the Chicago stop below and head over to Dawestheband.com for a full list of tour dates and more.
