The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has officially unveiled its 2017 comedy lineup. Topping the cast of characters appearing at this year’s ‘Roo Comedy Big Top are none other than Hannibal Buress, Natasha Leggero & Moshe Kasher.
Bonnaroo, known not only for its eclectic music tastes but also for its longstanding dedication to the art of stand-up, is sure to bring the laughs with their 2017 comedy tent offering. Joining Buress, Kasher & Leggero (the latter two likely performing their well-known “Honeymoon Tour” material) are 2 Dope Queens (Jessica Williams & Phoebe Robinson), Kyle Kinane, Hari KondaBolu, Mike Lawrence, The Improvised Shakespeare Company, Sam Morril, Jo Firestone and more.
This year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival released their music lineup back in January with headliners The Weeknd, Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2. While this is the first time The Weeknd will have performed at the festival, 2017 marks the Chili Peppers’ return to Great Stage Park, the band having last performed the fest in 2012. Arguably most exciting among the top of the bill is Bono & company’s first time appearance at the festival, where they are expected to play their classic 1987 release, The Joshua Tree, in its entirety. Flume, Cage the Elephant, Major Lazer, Tegan & Sara, Future Islands, The XX and Lorde will also take the stage over the course of the four-day festival.
Last year’s Bonnaroo lineup was topped by Dead & Company, Pearl Jam and LCD Soundsystem. On the comedy front, the event brought in festival favorite Bridget Everett as well as Adam Devine, SNL’s Vanessa Bayer and Pete Davidson, Beth Stelling, Piff the Magic Dragon, John Early, The Goddamn Comedy Jam, and Judd Apatow & Friends.
Bonnaroo 2017 goes down June 8-11. See below for the full comedy lineup and visit the Bonnaroo website to pick up tickets.
