Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner’s beloved Eaux Claires Music and Arts Festival returns in 2017 with another stellar lineup. Among those performing this year’s Eau Claire, WI-based event, slated for mid-June, are Bon Iver, Chance The Rapper, Paul Simon and Wilco.

Joining the above artists on this year’s bill are Feist, Perfume Genius, Danny Brown, S. Carey & Glenn Kotche, Mountain Man, Sylvan Esso, Collections Of Colonies Of Bees, S-T-A-R-G-A-Z-E, Francis And The Lights, Cup, Big Red Machine, The Autumn Defense and many more.

Per Stereogum, this year’s Eaux Claires’ lineup announcement came via pamphlets sent out to early ticket holders (see below).

As with previous years at Eaux Claires, it appears there will be plenty of collaborations to be had. Bon Iver is listed as “Bon Iver (presenting John Prine And The American Songbook),” Paul Simon will be joined by yMusic and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy is also slated to perform under side project Tweedy. Of particular interest is the above-mentioned Big Red Machine, a collaborative effort made up of Vernon and Dessner from the 2009 charity compilation album produced by The National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Dark Was The Night (on which Feist — set to play this year’s Eaux Claires Fest — also appeared).

Bon Iver recently played a series of shows at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn and ultimately released their stunning Dec. 4 performance (courtesy of NPR) in its entirety. More recently the group cancelled plans for a European tour as well as their January appearance on A Prairie Home Companion. The group released their first album, 22, A Million, in September after debuting it at last year’s Eaux Claires Festival.

The third annual Eaux Claires Festival takes place June 16-17 at Foster Farms in Eau Claire, WI. For more information visit Eaux Claires’ official website.
