On Between Two Worlds – out via Blonde Medicine on Aug. 12 – comedian Annick Adelle hilariously explores the duality that exists in many aspects of life.
Living on the spectrum between male and female, going from corporate employment to the comedy world, and moving from Germany to America are just a few of the topics discussed on this debut album with candid comedy and an appreciation for shades of grey.
“The pandemic made a lot of us realize what we want in life, and I got much more determined. I for one decided to infect more people. With laughter,” said Adelle.
Listeners can feel the joy and hear the laughter exuding from the audience at The Cellar at the Front Street Taproom in Fargo, ND where the album was recorded. There is an authenticity rarely captured in this release as fans did not know that they were witnessing an album being created until the end of the set.
