Sad Summer Festival 2023 tickets go on sale on January 27

Sad Summer Fest

Sad Summer Festival, presented by Journeys and Converse, is returning for its fourth year. The 2023 lineup features Taking Back Sunday, The Maine, PVRIS, Hot Mulligan and many more artists. LS Dunes, Andrew McMahon, Head Automatica and Motion City Soundtrack will appear as special guests on select dates of the tour.

Sad Summer Festival’s 16 national shows, produced by Live Nation, will begin on July 6 in Jacksonville, FL before making stops in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston and other great cities. There is a Chicago show scheduled for July 21 at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island and the tour will conclude in Irvine, CA on July 29.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. local time.

“We’re very excited to get back on the road. It’s going to be great spending the summer playing shows with old friends and making new ones. Most of all, we can not wait to start playing these new songs for everyone,” said John Nolan of Taking Back Sunday.

The Maine’s John O’Callaghan added, “For some reason the past year has felt like one long winter to me. Not that I haven’t enjoyed the hibernation, but I think it’s time my body absorbed some vitamin D and my ears devoured some Taking Back Sunday. And the very best place for both of those things will be at Sad Summer ’23. So crawl out of that cave, apply the zinc oxide and let’s f*cking rip.”
