Comedian Kyle Kinane is back with the hilarious new special, Shocks and Struts. It’s available to rent now, via 800 Pound Gorilla, and it will be released for free on YouTube on March 30. There is also an extended digital audio version with bonus material estimated to arrive in April/May 2023.
Throughout the special, which was directed by Jonah Ray Rodrigues, Kinane jokes about everything from dinosaurs (“God’s little tricksters”) to his laparoscopic appendectomy (“lappy appy”) to the dashboards of airplanes (full of “don’t die” buttons). His thoughts on discolored pillows and the life altering experience of getting stuck at Joshua Tree National Park will leave you laughing so hard you cry.
This is Kinane’s first live-action stand-up special since 2018’s Netflix: The Standups. It is overflowing with hilarity and is certainly worth the wait.
