On July 21-23, the Pitchfork Music Festival will once again grace Chicago’s Union Park with three days of incredible music. The Smile, Big Thief and Bon Iver are set to headline this year’s festivities with such artists as Alvvays, Perfume Genius, Jlin, Weyes Blood, Vagabon, Kelela, Killer Mike and many more artists rounding out the lineup.
In between performances, there are a ton of great activities for fans to enjoy. Whether you like shopping for vinyl records, collecting posters or sampling eats from some of the best spots in Chicago, there’s so much to enjoy beyond the music at Pitchfork 2023.
CHIRP Record Fair
Once again, the Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP) is hosting its annual Record Fair at Pitchfork. Fans can shop for selections from indie labels, local record stores and independent vendors. There will also be plenty of records from artists playing this year’s event available to purchase.
Renegade Craft Fair
The Renegade Craft Fair promises to offer something for everyone. Soaps, jewelry, and much more from today’s modern makers are available at the craft and design booths. Previous Pitchfork’s have even hosted aura reading photo booths.
Flatstock Poster Fair
Looking for new artwork to hang on your walls? The Flatstock Poster Fair, hosted by the American Poster Institute and Speedball, welcomes the best show-poster artists all in one place.
Food and Drinks
You’re bound to get hungry and thirsty at some point during a three-day music festival and Pitchfork 2023 promises delicious eats from some of Chicago’s best restaurants. Billy Goat Tavern, Connie’s Pizza, Black Dog Gelato, Island Noodles and more have already been announced as food vendors. Fans with PLUS tickets will also enjoy curated food and cocktails to purchase as well as free all-day refreshments, paletas and more fun perks. With sponsors including White Claw, Goose Island and Waterloo Sparkling Water, there will also be plenty of beverage options to enjoy.
