New York comedian Liz Barrett is set to release her debut full-length comedy album, Gettin’ By, exclusively on Sirius as part of the “She’s So Funny” channel pop-up starting July 30, and out everywhere on August 11.
Barrett is also a lawyer who works part-time as a hearing officer/judge. She wields this experience, as well as her healthy skepticism of the world at large, to create hilarious comedy. Reality TV, newlyweds and weird strip clubs are just a few of the topics Barrett mines for hilarity throughout the album.
With her trademark dry, dark humor, Barrett brings lots of laughs to tracks including “Lazy Cleaning,” “Sports Bra and Knee Brace,” and “Vodka Snacks.”
Gotham Comedy Live, Laughs on FOX and Funny or Die are just a few of the places Barrett has appeared. She was also a finalist at Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and the She-Devil Comedy Festival.
